Today, I had my tenth lesson with Teacher Rachel after a month.
I read an article about more Japanese universities planning to teach more classes in English only.
I explained how difficult it is for Japanese people to learn English, a language belonging to a very different language family in Europe.
As a Japanese person struggling to learn English in Japan, I asked this question: How often do you use English versus your native language in your dreams?
I was really surprised when he answered that he uses 100% English. For Japanese people who don’t have the opportunity to use English in their daily lives, it's an extremely difficult task to master the language to the point of speaking it in their dreams.

チャットは少なめですが、分かりやすいしとても良い先生だと思います。分からなくて言葉に詰まってもゆっくり教えてくれます。日本のアーティストにも詳しくて子供と盛り上がってた時もあったり、親しみやすい先生なので子どもがいつも笑いながらレッスンを受けてます！

とても楽しく話しやすい先生です。授業の内容は難しかったのですが、わかりやすく丁寧に教えてくれました。２５分があっという間に過ぎた感じです。雑音はありませんでしたが、時々先生の映像が途切れました。でも音声は続いていたので問題ありませんでした。また是非受けたいです。お薦めの先生です。

とても紳士的な方です。こちらの会話レベルを把握していただき、レッスンのレベルを変えてくれたので、終えることができました。次は何の話をしようかなと思わせてくれる方です。
